Educational Workshops
Our educational workshops focus on providing information (definitions, background, symptoms, statistics, risk factors, etc.) and skills, suggestions, or activities for navigating the topic (e.g., anxiety, grief, depression).
We offer two types of workshops:
Workshops Provided by MHE Staff
Our staff create workshops on topics to be delivered to local groups, seniors’ homes, and educational institutions. These workshops often include a presentation, a discussion, handouts, and, if applicable, an activity. These can be presented in-person, virtually, or hybrid.

Online Workshops
These are free, virtual workshops delivered in English by guest speakers on Zoom. Follow-up emails after each workshop include the slides (if the presenter gives permission for us to share them), book recommendations, resource links, worksheets, and invitations to upcoming workshops. The workshops are generally not recorded to protect the confidentiality of the participants. Should the session be recorded, all attendees will be informed. When you register, you will receive the follow-up email, whether you attend or not.
Previous topics have included anxiety, setting boundaries, dance therapy, the power of empathy, eco-anxiety, procrastination, and borderline personality disorder.
