Mental Health Tools and Visual
We offer a variety of in-house prepared mental health tools and visuals. Infographics, wellness cards, and booklets can be found under the Resource menu.
Infographics
The infographics provide general information, such as definitions, statistics, symptoms, lending library recommendations, coping skills, and resources. Additional information will be included where appropriate (e.g., myths vs. facts, treatment options, risk factors, or sub-categories within a disorder/topic). We have infographics on many topics, but we are always expanding our catalogue. Digital versions of all our infographics are available on our website, and some topics also have condensed print copies.
Wellness Cards
Wellness cards are small square cards with ideas, strategies, coping skills, or suggestions about various mental health topics. Our wellness cards are designed to help reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness by offering accessible, engaging, and easy-to-understand information. They also serve as a preventative tool, encouraging compassionate conversations, helping identify early signs of distress, and offering supportive strategies before challenges escalate.
A new wellness card is posted to our social media every Tuesday. [these aren’t on our website yet but they will be]
Booklets
MHE has partnered with other organizations to create in-depth tools for the community.
The Mental Health Resource Guide was developed in partnership with Vent Over Tea to promote the resources available in the Eastern Townships. This guide can be found under the resources tab.
Our two grief booklets, Let’s Talk About Grief and Let’s Talk About Grief: Supporting Grieving Children and Youth, offer guidance on understanding grief, recognizing symptoms, communicating effectively, and coping with complex losses. Townshippers’ Association generously supported the printing of these materials. These booklets can be found under the infographics tab.
Slide Decks (micro-presentation)
Once a month, we post a 5-10 slide micro-presentation on our social media. We have had slide decks on various therapeutic skills, trending terms (e.g., bed rotting, bedtime procrastination), and types of therapies. These posts serve as a starting point for learning about a range of mental health concepts.
